Design Lab Maker Workshops

All participants that register for Design Lab Maker Workshops must complete a MOSAC Intro to Making course before registering for other programs. 

Intro to Making: Wind Turbines

Calling all 5th-8th grade makers! Interested in working with 3D printers, laser cutters, hand tools, and more? Design Lab Maker Workshops are coming to MOSAC! All participants that register for Design Lab Maker Workshops must complete a MOSAC Intro to Making course before registering for other programs. Programs take place in MOSAC’s Design Lab over 4 Saturdays, 2 hours per day.  

Participants will use the following tools in Intro to Making: laser cutter, 3D printers, soldering irons, heat guns, and hand tools such as pliers, wire cutters, wire strippers, and screwdrivers.

Registering for an online account:

  1. Use this link to register for an online account if you have not previously set one up.  
  2. Please use all information you provided when signing up for a membership. Choose a password that you can access for future log in and meets the system security requirements (13 character, an upper case, a lower case, a number and special character).  
  3. To test if your online account has linked properly with your membership, you can log in to this Member’s Only page. Only members will be able to properly log in 
  4. Please call (916) 674-5000 ext. 103 between the hours of 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday if you experience difficulties with registration 

Checking your online login information:

  1. Use this link to check that your log in information is accurate and up to date.  
  2. In the upper right-hand corner, click “Sign In”  
  3. Enter your email address and password. If you have forgotten your password, you can click “Forgot Password” under the password box and you will be sent instructions for resetting your password to your email address.  
  4. Please call (916) 674-5000 ext. 103 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday or email members@visitmosac.org.  if you experience difficulties checking your login information. 

Please note that you will lock yourself out of your account after 5 incorrect login attempts. There is nothing MOSAC staff can do to unlock your account. You will need to wait 30 minutes for your account to unlock itself and then you can try again.
