- All field trips are priced for up to 35 students and 10 chaperones

Your students can explore MOSAC’s exhibit hall filled with 20,000 sq. ft. of interactive exhibits on a wide range of topics from nature to space, and from water and sustainability to health. Students discover different challenges that California is facing, learn how we are dealing with those issues and innovating to make the world better and envision themselves as one of the future engineers who will solve those kinds of problems.

Spark your students’ curiosity in one of MOSAC’s learning labs! Ask questions, experiment, and find solutions in a 60-minute learning experience that is fully aligned with NGSS standards. Let our inquiry-based learning methods ignite your students’ interest and engagement in different subject matters.

- Add a Learning Lab to your field trip and watch your students’ curiosity come to life! We use inquiry-based, hands-on experiences to get students engaged with science in a real lab environment. From exploring fossils to observing and preparing slides of real cells, students will experience science in action using real tools to build real skills!

- Take your field trip experience to new heights by adding a UC Davis Multiverse Theater program to your plans. Your students will get a live planetarium presentation from one of our talented and entertaining educators that aligns with each grade level NGSS standards. We have one of the most advanced digital planetarium systems in the world, and combine live narration with this state-of-the-art technology to launch your class through our planet, our solar system, and the universe beyond!

Take a deep dive with our Academy Programs! These full-day field trip experiences include exploration and learning from beginning to end! They are unique to MOSAC, allowing you and your students to learn through our inquiry-based approach in engaging and interactive ways. Our full-day themed programs include an exhibit tour, a digital dome show in the UC Davis Multiverse Theater, labs, and engineering challenges!
- Our academies are full-day field trip experiences in which you and your students will explore all that MOSAC has to offer! One of our dynamic, engaging Educators will lead you through real-world learning, engineering challenges, lab experiences, and a dome theater show, in addition to exhibit exploration. Use your problem solving and engineering skills to innovate, create, and explore solutions to real world problems with our unique Academy Programs!
