Homeschool Day at MOSAC!

Are you a part of a home school, charter, independent study program, or other K-12 education group? Join us for a curiosity field day at the Museum of Science and Curiosity! Enjoy your choice of out-of-this-world planetarium shows, experience hands-on lab explorations presented by our Curiosity Collaborators, and explore museum exhibits at your own pace!

Homeschool Design Lab Programming

Calling all homeschool makers ages 10-13! Interested in engineering, design, and working with real tools like 3D printers, laser cutters, hand tools, and more? Design Lab Maker Workshops for homeschoolers are coming to MOSAC!

Intro to Making: Wind Turbines

Interested in joining the world of making? Join us as we learn to use real tools while designing and building our own Wind Turbines! Completing this series is a prerequisite for all other MOSAC Design Lab Maker Workshops.

Participants will use the following tools in Intro to Making: laser cutter, 3D printers, soldering irons, heat guns, and hand tools such as pliers, wire cutters, wire strippers, and screwdrivers.

Workshop Details: Four-day workshop taking place on Thursday afternoons from 1-3pm.
