Yes, we offer a 10% membership discount for seniors 65+, educators, college students, and military personnel on all Curiosity Level Memberships. All 10% discounts must be applied at the time of purchase. To receive your 10% discount on your MOSAC membership, please purchase your membership over the phone at 916.674.5000.

Memberships are valid for 12 months after MOSAC’s opening day or 12 months after the date of purchase, if purchased after opening day.

As an early MOSAC member, you will be invited to exclusive member events and sneak previews before we officially open to the public. Your early membership will ensure that you will be among the first to experience our new exhibits and programs. Members will also receive discounts on summer camps and special programs that will occur before MOSAC officially opens.

All Powerhouse Science Center memberships that were extended due to COVID will be valid at MOSAC for the number of months you were unable to use your membership at Powerhouse Science Center during our COVID closure. For Example, if your membership was set to expire in May, you were unable to use your benefits for three months due to our COVID closure. Therefore, your membership will be extended for three months at the new MOSAC beginning when we open to the public. Absolutely! All current Powerhouse Science Center Members will have access to exclusive preview events before the new MOSAC opens.

Membership is vital to the sustainability of MOSAC. We strive to provide the highest level of experience, benefits, and savings to our guests. In order to maintain a high level of service, all membership sales are nonrefundable and nontransferable.

If you would like to upgrade your membership, you can call 916.674.5000 or visit the admissions desk when MOSAC opens. The cost for an upgrade will be the difference in cost from your current level to the higher level. Benefits for the upgraded level will be available immediately, however your current expiration date will remain the same.

All MOSAC memberships are revocable licenses and can be revoked at any time at the sole discretion of MOSAC without refund in the event of any noncompliance with or violation of any museum rule or other term or condition of membership, or for any inappropriate conduct.

Memberships are nontransferable and cannot be shared between persons and/or households except as specifically provided for per such membership category.

Memberships are for personal use only.
