*MOSAC extends NARM reciprocal admission to applicable members of institutions that are outside of a 15-mile radius of MOSAC. NARM memberships from institutions within a 15-mile radius of MOSAC do not qualify for NARM benefits at the museum.
**MOSAC extends ASTC Travel Passport admission to applicable members of institutions that are outside of a 90-mile radius of MOSAC. Per ASTC guidelines, the 90-mile radius includes either the science center where you purchased your membership or your home residence.
NARM and ASTC Members can reserve their tickets by calling us at 916 674-5000 or purchase their tickets at the Admissions Desk on the day of their visit.
Memberships
Absolutely! If you want to purchase general admission tickets to visit MOSAC before becoming a member, you can apply your general admission towards a membership. Tickets can only be applied towards a membership on the same day you’re using them for your visit.

As of May 1, 2022, masks are optional for visitors throughout the museum.
We recommend you bring your own mask; MOSAC will have a limited number of disposable masks available if needed.
Visit
You will be able to explore over 100 hands-on exhibits, watch a show in our UC Davis Multiverse Theater, and enjoy our grounds along the Sacramento River.
UC Davis Multiverse Theater shows will be available throughout the day. You can book seats for a show by scanning the QR code next to the front desk at admission.
A complimentary general UC Davis Multiverse Theater show is included with your general admission; however, the theater has limited capacity. You can reserve your theater seat at the front desk on the day of your visit.
The City of Sacramento operates the parking lot at MOSAC. The parking fee is $6/day. Visitors can use the kiosk in front of the museum to pay for parking or by visiting the PARKMOBILE website, input the location code 6848 and check out as a guest.
Yes — MOSAC has EV charging stations on-site.
Yes — MOSAC offers several options for facility rentals. Check out our Plan an Event page or contact events@visitmosac.org.
Amenities and Accessibility
Wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-serve basis at the Admissions Desk. Strollers are not provided.
MOSAC currently does not have any extended hours available for seniors or others with special needs, but we hope to offer dedicated hours for them in the near future.
Yes — the MOSAC Café will offer ‘grab and go’ sandwiches, snacks and beverages.
We hope you will enjoy the available food and beverage options at the MOSAC Café, but you may bring your own light snacks.
Yes — Our store hours are 10am – 5pm daily.
Yes — MOSAC accepts cash and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express).
Lockers are coming soon!
Yes — They’re available in all restrooms except the second floor men’s room.
